Welcome to the official site for the 2012 Student Leaders of Tomorrow(SLOT) Conference.
The SLOT Conference is hosted by the Aggie Leaders of Tomorrow (MSC ALOT), a freshman leadership organization in the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M University. The conference is planned and run entirely by freshmen members of MSC ALOT.
The SLOT Conference is open to all juniors and seniors interested in learning new leadership skills and embracing new opportunities here at Texas A&M. The total cost of the conference is $75, which includes food and housing.
We, the members of MSC ALOT, invite you to join us for the SLOT Conference! This year's conference will be held March 23-25, 2012; and the theme will be “Animate Your Leadership.”
The SLOT Conference gives high school juniors and seniors the chance to experience college life first-hand while learning valuable leadership skills. Together, approximately 200 delegates will participate in various activities aimed at developing qualities they can apply to their lives. The participating high school juniors and seniors will gain insight from a variety of speakers covering a wide range of leadership topics and begin networking with current leaders at Texas A&M.
The delegates will be housed overnight in a residence hall with one or more current A&M students. This weekend's adventures may serve as a deciding factor between colleges for some and a confirmation for others. We are confident that the delegates will leave A&M on Sunday afternoon with many new friends, many lasting memories, and a wealth of new opportunities for their future.
