About SLOT

Established in 1998, the Student Leaders of Tomorrow (SLOT) Conference is a three day conference for high school seniors. The conference is open to all high school seniors interested in learning new leadership skills and embracing new opportunities here at Texas A&M. The total cost of the conference is $87, which includes all food, housing, a personalized StrengthsQuest™ profile, and SLOT t-shirt.

The SLOT Conference gives high school delegates the chance to experience college life first-hand while learning valuable leadership skills. Together, approximately 100 delegates will participate in various activities aimed at developing qualities they can apply to their lives. The participating high school seniors will gain insight from a variety of speakers covering a wide range of leadership topics and begin networking with current leaders at Texas A&M.

The delegates will be housed overnight in a residence hall with one or more current A&M students. The weekend's adventures may serve as a deciding factor between colleges for some and a confirmation for others. We are confident that the delegates will leave the conference with many new friends, many lasting memories, and a wealth of new opportunities for their future.

The SLOT Conference is hosted by the MSC Aggie Leaders of Tomorrow (MSC ALOT), a freshman leadership organization in the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M University. The conference is planned and run entirely by freshmen members of MSC ALOT.
