Delegate Information

Speakers

• Features four key-note speakers and several breakout speakers.
• Each guest speaker brings a unique perspective to their leadership topic.
• After each speech, delegates split into roundtables where they discuss the speech in depth.

Roundtables

• Upon arriving at the conference, all the delegates are split in to small groups called "roundtables."
• Each roundtable is led by two facilitators, each a member of MSC ALOT.
• Every roundtable participates in several discussions throughout the conference designed to teach delegates ways to apply their leadership skills to the college environment.
• Provide students with a way to form friendships with future and current Aggies in a small group setting.

Residence Hall Life

• As a delegate, you will stay on campus with a current A&M student in his or her dorm room.
• A great chance to get an inside, more personal view, of college life; something that many students do not receive at other conferences.

Other Activities

• On Friday night, delegates attend a variety show hosted by MSC SLOT where various organizations from Texas A&M come to perform.
• The next night, delegates attend the annual SLOT dance, where everyone dresses in their 80's Flashback attire.
• The SLOT conference is a weekend where all the high school students will gain valuable leadership skills and have fun in Aggieland!
