Where exactly is the SLOT Conference?
The SLOT Conference is held at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.

When is the SLOT Conference?
The SLOT Conference will take place on March 27-29, 2015.

When is the SLOT Conference?
We are in the process of finalizing the schedule, but the tentative plan is for delegates to begin checking in between 12:00 and 1:00 on Friday, March 27. The conference will end by 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 29.

Why should I attend SLOT 2014?
In the SLOT Conference, delegates will acquire various leadership and communication skills. As a delegate you will hear distinguished speakers talk about the variation of leadership skills which have helped them in their careers and throughout their lifes. While attending SLOT you will meet amazing people from many diverse backgrounds. You will not only establish great friendships, but you will be given the opportunity to launch your network with current and future Aggies. It is a great experience and we cannot wait to see you in the Spring!

What do I bring?
Pack the following in no more than TWO bags/suitcases:
1) Appropriate clothing
2) Sleeping bag and pillow
3) Towel
4) Toiletries
5) Comfortable walking shoes
6) Umbrella / poncho
7) Camera (optional)
8) Money for snacks / souvenirs (optional)

Can my child arrive late/leave early?
Requests to arrive late/leave early should be directed to slot.delegates@gmail.com. With prior notice, we are willing to work with students who need to arrive late on Friday or leave early on Sunday. However, please know that we do have speakers and activities Friday afternoon and Sunday morning that your child would miss. Students cannot leave the conference and then return. Once a delegate has signed out, they are considered permanently withdrawn from the conference and cannot sign back in.

I can no longer attend SLOT. May I request a refund?
Yes, refunds will be available until February 16th. Requests should be directed to slot.delegates@gmail.com.

Who will I stay with?
During the weekend, you and one other person will be staying in the dormitory of a freshman on campus at Texas A&M University.

Can my child request a roommate?
Roommate requests should be directed to communications.slot@gmail.com. We will consider roommate requests, but cannot guarantee that the requests will be met because of the high number of delegates attending the conference.
