Cruising Into Leadership February 20-22 2009

SLOT 09

Howdy and welcome to the official site for the 2009 Student Leaders of Tomorrow Conference. The SLOT Conference gives high school juniors and seniors the chance to experience college life first-hand while learning valuable leadership skills. Together, approximately 300 delegates will participate in various activities aimed at developing qualities they can apply to their lives. The participating juniors and seniors will gain insight from a variety of speakers covering a wide range of leadership topics and begin networking with current leaders at Texas A&M. The delegates will be housed overnight in a residence hall with one or more current A&M students. This weekend's adventures may serve as a deciding factor between colleges for some and a confirmation for others. We are confident that the delegates will leave A&M on Sunday afternoon with many new friends, many lasting memories, and opened the door of wealth of new opportunities for their future.

The SLOT Conference is hosted by the Aggie Leaders of Tomorrow (MSCC ALOT), a freshman leadership organization in the Memorial Student Center Complex at Texas A&M University. The conference is planned and run entirely by freshmen members of MSCC ALOT.

The SLOT Conference is open to all juniors and seniors interested in learning new leadership skills and embracing new opportunities here at Texas A&M.

We, the members of MSCC ALOT, invite you to join us for the SLOT Conference. This year's conference will be held Febuary 20-22, 2009, and the theme is Cruising into Leadership.
